Results of Oct 11-12 Shows and Plans for Oct 18-19

Cold and large crowds. No rain! Lots of people watched the show from the Prayer Tent to keep warm. Great weekend!

Next weekend Oct 18-19, gates open normally at 6:30pm. Expect big crowds and warmer weather (highs in upper 80s to low 90s). Only 3 weekends left in 2019 season!

Promise Prayer Team Purpose Statement

Support and empower the Promise ministry by praying for cast, staff, visitors, equipment, weather and anything else.

Extend the Promise ministry by serving visitors and staff with written prayer requests, praying and counseling, free resources, communion, and baptism.

Be led by the Holy Spirit and focus on Jesus by praying always and by preparing your hearts prior to an event. Be humble and deflect all credit and glory to Jesus, and mention Jesus’ name is every conversation.

Be witnesses for Jesus in evangelism, follow up, and connecting people to churches.

Partner with area church members to involve them in the Prayer Team ministry including follow up, and provide training to their church members.

Measure for success and constantly improve, building on what we do successfully, and being flexible so we can change quickly as God leads us and we see where He is working.

Before gates open - setup prayer tent, pray, train and organize partner church volunteers

6:30pm – Gates normally open at 6:30pm, but check event schedule on web link above

6:30-8:00pm – Greet visitors, finish setting up tent, prayer, do same activities as at intermission for fewer people, help distribute communion cups

8:00pm Show starts - during show do prayer

Intermission – Greet visitors, encourage them to fill out prayer requests, offer them tracts and free resources, praying and counseling, help distribute communion cups

End of show – Greet visitors, do same activities as at intermission for fewer people, baptize people, collect prayer request forms, pack up supplies

After weekend – Document prayer requests and email to cast, crew and prayer team, follow up with people, communicate with partner churches about follow up, pray for requests.
